An Individual contributor role responsible for working with management to identify and implement varied projects, programs and plans that support achievement of business unit and enterprise goals.
Primary duties to include, but are not limited to:
Provides business content expertise in Provider Value Based Care business capability development. influence prioritization and decision making, throughout the project lifecycle
Partners with sponsor to develop high level requirements, scope and strategy.
Identifiesand engagesimpacted parties, business partners, and resources required.
Drives process to collect detailed business requirements/user stories.
Identifies potential issues, project charge, and scope.Accountable for tracking and reporting progress to all levels (work team and leadership), escalating as needed.
Develops and designs processes and systems that support business needs. Designs methods for integrating function and process.
Conducts cost/benefit analyses.Responsible for reviewing budget and escalating any gaps or conflicts in costs, and drive resolution.
Leads efforts to identify best practicesand follow Anthem standards.
Builds support for business change throughout the business unit.
Leads development and implementation of business operational readiness plans, ensures user testing plan is in place and executed, follows up on post-production results.
Requires experience in broad health plan processes (claims, enrollment, networks). Strongly prefer expertise/experience in Provider Reimbursement – Value Based programs and quality metrics.
Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field; 5-8 years of process or project related experience that includes experience in successfully developing and managing projects with fairly significant operating budget and knowledge of process redesign; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Requires experience in representing business needs while driving large scale IT development project management using Agile and Waterfall methodologies
PMP and Agile certification preferred
Must have very strong oral/written/presentation communication skills and facilitation expertise
Must have intermediate/advanced skills in MS Project, MS Office tools. Expertise in Sharepoint, JIRA, Confluence, Visio strongly desired.
Must be able to work East coast hours.
